Bowel cancer is a devastating disease that took our wonderful Dad, husband and Grandad, Brian, from us far too soon.
He was more than just a father, husband and grandfather; he was our hero, our rock and our biggest cheerleader.
Watching him battle this illness with such wilful determination was both inspiring and wrenching.
So now – we are fighting back in his honour.

I’m raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK, a charity dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of life for everyone affected by bowel cancer. Their work in research, awareness and patient support is crucial in the battle against this disease, and with your help, we can make a real difference.
Every step I take on that marathon route is not only in honour of my dad, who loved the London Marathon, but for all those who have faced this battle.
